MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Good location. Easy access to the F1 track and the Monorail. Room was comfortable and wifi worked fine. Good choice of restaurant. Wolfgang Puck a highlight for breakfast and dinner.

Facilities, variety of stuff to do and bars

The location was great. The MGM Grand is on the monorail that runs behind the strip and is a great way to get to the other resort hotels. Negotiating the strip on foot is a nightmare with so many people, drunks and ticket touts everywhere let alone the distance to walk in searing heat. The pools are superb and the food choices are comprehensive.

This hotel, in spite of being one the biggest on the strip and generally packed with guests, does everything right. The facilities are clean, modern and packed with plenty of things to do. The staff is uniformly approachable, polite, kind and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay a pleasant one. It's location is near the end of the strip, but the rest of it is easily accessible by foot or the monorail which has a station right in the hotel. I was genuinely surprised that a hotel this big could be so excellent.
